The famous CM7 custom android ROM for HP’s Touchpad tablet has reached Alpha development stage and the following video shows that it is indeed coming out pretty well:
The ROM is available for install but do note that it can be extremely buggy and you will cannot hold anyone (but yourself) responsible in case you brick your device. A detailed information on installation etc can be found here
