Update: This laptop went on sale on 27th of January and in less than 30 minutes, Razer managed to clear the stock. Yes, in 30 minutes, every single one of the first batch of Blades was sold.
“OMFG. Less than 30 minutes and we sold out of EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. of our first batch of Razer Blades,” Tan posted on his Facebook Wall. “Our next batch will be in about 2 weeks and we’re making as many as we can. Hang in there. This is amazing.” said Min-Liang Tan on Facebook
Razer Blade, which they call as the world's first true gaming laptop was first announced in August. According to Kotaku.com, this laptop will ship by Christmas and will be available for $2,800 (that's pricier than top end Macbook Pro). So, what's so good about this laptop?

- Designed with one thing in mind, GAMING!
- Stunning looks
- Unique LCD trackpad and 10 dynamic keys with matching icon overlays for the current game
- Switchblade UI
- Core i7 running at 2.8GHz (dual core)
- 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD
- Nvidia GT555M with 2GB dedicated graphics memory
- 17.3" LED backlit 1080p display
- 0.88" thick
If you are still wondering, what's so special about this laptop, check these images:
GT555 manages crysis2 at 30fps on 1366*768 resolution. Not meant for playing games in FHD resolution. For 1080p they should have used GTX series or 69xxM series. Big mistake.
