Google wallet gets update

Google Wallet, application that turns your phone into a payment device has received a major upgrade. Do note that Google Wallet required 2.3.3 version of Android and here are the key features added in this version:

1. Find new offers directly in Wallet
2. Updated transaction detail screen (for Tap & Pay and in Transaction History)
3. Merchant name and amount now available for Google Prepaid Card purchases
4. Improved button to turn your cards on and off
5. Five minute default PIN timeout for new users
6. Account Number validation for some gift cards
