Opera has released Alpha build of Opera 12 for PCs and the feature set looks pretty impressive.
- hardware acceleration: Opera browser will now use GPU’s processing power to load webpages faster. Support for OpenGL is already added while support for DirectX is work-in-progress.
- New HTML 5 engine: better compatibility between browsers, pages more dynamic and load faster
- Faster: 40% faster load time and 30% less memory usage
- New themes
- New address bar
- WebGL support for 3D games
