Three droids for every iPhone

Q3 smarpthone sales figure analysis is out and it's mind blowing. Android sales are 3x higher than iPhone's. From 25.3% in Q3 2010, Android jumped to 52% marketshare. Surprisingly, Symbian has dropped only one place even though it's marketshare fell from 36.3% to 16.9% this year. Apple's iPhone marketshare has increased by mere 1.6% (form 15% to 16.6%). Thanks to aggressive launch of smartphones by Google's partners and users waiting for iPhone 4 Apple sales figure fell by 3 million units sold. RIM's share fell from 15.4% to 11% and Microsoft's share is now just 1.5%.
