HP introduces 132" multitouch wall, VantagePoint


Looks like Microsoft's Surface has some competition. This is the VantagePoint from HP, a 132"(11ft x 4ft) multitouch wall. This dispay wall is matrix of 6 HP LD4730G touchscreen displays with Ultra-Micro bezel.


Multitouch is achieved by using infrared based touch overlay and supports max of 32 touch points. At the backend, there is HP Z800 workstation powered by a dual core processor and ATI FirePro card. On the software side, Total Immersion's D'Fusion augmented reality software is integrated. Here's a quick look at video demo of this wall:



There is no pricing detail for VantagePoint and release dates too are not announced.
