Four and a half years after introducing worlds first OLED TV, Sony has decided to pull the plug on the sale of these TVs in consumer market. The major problem with OLED TVs is their price, given the premium components that they use. A 11" OLED costs as much as a monster size plasma/LED TVs. Sony will continue production of OLED monitors for professional use.
