Superbowl Live stream, exclusive for Verizon users



After successfull online streaming of various sports events, NBC will stream Superbowl XLVI NFL live for the first time online and to mobile users on Verizon's network.


“We are especially excited to now bring our unique and innovative SNF Extra video experience to the NFL playoffs, Pro Bowl, and Super Bowl,” said Rick Cordella, vice president of NBC Sports Digital Media. 

“We are pleased to work with our partners NBC and Verizon to bring our fans more ways to watch their favorite sport during their favorite time of the year,” said Hans Schroeder, NFL senior vice president of media strategy and development.

  1. That’s great that Hans Schroeder is working with Verizon, but unfortunately live streaming is not exclusive to Verizon. You see, DISH Network has a TV Everywhere solution paired with Sling Technology. With this option you can stream all of your programming lineup live anytime there is internet access (you can even access all your recorded content on your DVR). Personally, working with DISH I use my iPhone and 3G connection to stream my channels. If streaming is something you like to do, I recommend to check it out at DISH’s official website.
