White Razr, Xyboard 10.1 and Xyboard 8.2 announced by Verizon


Yes, the super sexy Droid Razr is now available in white, at all Verizon Wireless communications store. The white Droid Razr will cost $299.99 and comes with a 2-year contract.
Customers that purchase a DROID RAZR will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan beginning at $39.99 monthly access and a smartphone data package starting at $30 monthly access for 2 GB of data.

But this not the big news. The big news is the availability of  Droid Xyboard, variant of Xoom 2.

This stunner is the successor to Xoom2. A quick look at specifications first:

  • 1.2GHz dual core processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB, 32GB and 64 GB variants
  • IPS panel display protected by Corning Gorilla glass (10.1" and 8.2" sizes for DROID XYBOARD 10.1 and DROID XYBOARD 8.2 respectively)
  • Android 3.2
  • 5mp rear camera with LED flash, 720p video recording and 1.3mp front facing camera. 
  • wide range of preinstalled apps (what we call as bloatware)
  • Droid Xyboard 10.1 prices: 16 GB for $529.99, 32 GB for $629.99 and 64 GB for $729.99
  • Droid Xyboard  8.2 prices: 16 GB for $429.99 and 32 GB for $529.99
  • Customers that purchase a DROID XYBOARD tablet will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband data plan starting at $30 monthly access for 2 GB of data.
  • All the devices will get upgraded to Icecream Sandwich version of Android in near future (no dates set)
There is a special promotion in place as of now where you get $100 off on a DROID XYBOARD tablet and $50 off select Motorola accessories when you purchase a DROID RAZR with a new two-year customer agreement. (limited period offer)
